Director of Delivery

This position requires considerable initiative and independent judgment to manage diverse development initiatives and deliver business value, in partnership with Concilio’s leadership team.

As the Delivery Director, you will provide leadership for supporting new and existing customers. This position will be responsible for facilitating effective communication and cross team collaboration throughout the delivery process. The candidate must excel at cultivating and maintaining relationships, as well as possessing solid leadership and technical skills.

About the Position

  Team Management

  • Manage the delivery team to ensure product and project delivery requirements and objectives are met, conveying the vision of success, ensuring proper staffing with the CTO, and mitigating potential risk. Additionally:
    • Ensure the delivery team maintains a clear understanding of customer and/or product owner requirements and contractual obligations
    • Refine their mission and strategy; provide leadership to develop their visibility and increase their impact and alignment across the company
  • Position team members to effectively deliver results in an agile environment (or waterfall, when appropriate)
  • Manage a team directly in-person as well as an additional teams remotely
  • Assist the team prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Establish a strong culture of accountability

  Delivery Discipline

  • Enhance and mature portfolio management strategy. Incorporate and promote agile and lean leadership practices
  • Collaborate with the CEO to define critical projects, including setting definitive goals, timelines, budgets, and change management strategies. Including:
    • Negotiate competing priorities and navigate complex organizational dynamics to establish delivery plans
  • Collaborate with the CTO to align technology projects with strategic objectives and related organizational priorities, while balancing demand. Establish metrics to aid decision making and continuous improvement
  • Maintain and continue to develop a broad knowledge of project and product delivery best practices and relevant industry standards
  • Provide oversight and reporting of all customer metrics, including monthly financial overview


  • Liaise with cross functional teams to drive continuous delivery improvements that results in increased productivity and customer experiences
  • Emulate strong management and leadership principles with the capacity to engage, motivate, mentor, and coach teams distributed across various geographical locations
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and other key members of Concilio to foster a culture that prioritizes effective collaborative relationships
  • Promote a positive, friendly, transparent, and respectful atmosphere where work is executed productively and in an agile manner

About You

  • Deep expertise in project delivery methodologies and the software development lifecycle, including experience managing agile and waterfall projects

  • Intimate knowledge of key product management, agile development and UX-centered design principles a plus


  • 5+ years in supporting product and services delivery in a high volume multi-client environment supporting several remote locations
  • 5+ years of direct supervisory experience including performance management and professional development mentoring for direct reports
  • 3+ years cross-functional team management experience
  • Track record of ownership and delivery of large, complex projects on time and within scope
  • Experience handling enterprise-level customers
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all customer stakeholders, particularly from a service focus and quality standpoint
  • Experience selecting and working with vendors and third-party consultants, including responsibility for oversight of related deliverables
  • Understanding of enterprise SaaS products, customers, partners, and competitors preferred
  • 3+ years in SaaS product management or product development role a plus
  • Scrum Master certification a plus


Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a creative agency, SaaS product development or technical field
